Parking
Access to the event will be clearly signed from surrounding roads, please follow event signage to your relevant parking. General Parking is FREE to all attendees. You must however have purchased an admission ticket (available in advance or on the gate) to gain access to the event.
Owners will be given a @Season pass’ which will gain them access to the forward car park, situated within easy walking distance of the hub of the event. No cars will be permitted in the lorry park.
ALL public parking will be clearly signed and a short walk to gain access to the event site
You could experience the event from the heart of the action with options to purchase picnic parking and new for 2026, tailgate parking… click on ‘TICKETS’ for more information.
Disabled Car Park – all blue badge holders will have access to the disabled parking, which is adjacent to the owners parking. Please ensure you have a blue badge as well as your Blue Badge ticket (Which are FOC & does not include admission ticket) as without this you will be unable to access the disabled car park. We recommend purchasing tickets prior to arrival via our box office, however you will be able to purchase tickets on the gate. Failure to produce your blue badge credentials will lead to needing to pay a full price gate ticket. Carers also need to ensure they have obtained a FOC ‘Carer ticket’ proof / ID will need to be uploaded.
Catering
We offer a wide range of food and drink options across the event site, with local cuisine at the very heart of the event. A licensed bar will be available throughout the event.

Camping
Experience the atmosphere of the whole event by staying on-site. We are delighted to be able to offer on-site camping. We have permanent toilet & shower facilities. For prices and to book camping please visit our ticket page.
FAQs
What are your top tips when coming to bicton for the international horse trials?
.Here are the answers from the Bicton team…
*Before you leave home print the running order for that day… the running orders will be available under Equestrian Action on the homepage our website also.
*If you have very small children, visit the information point on arrival to get your free emergency contact wristband!
*On arrival visit the information point to purchase a programme & ask any questions.
*Bring a waterproof jacket & wellies as well as your sunglasses, sun hat & suncream!
*A blanket or a camping chair will serve you well.
*When on the XC Course, keep children close by, use the crossing points & listen for the whistles.
*Ensure you wear comfortable footwear, if you plan to walk the course you will cover a fair distance!
*Visit the Trade Stand area, treat yourself or someone else… many being local & they all really do appreciate your custom.
*Try something different from the food vendors… always a treat to be had!
*Stay hydrated… bring water. There will also be plenty of opportunities to purchase water on-site, drinking water taps will be marked on the site map.

Which is the best day?
Both days have an action-packed timetable and most importantly the cross-country runs on both days, so there really isn’t any advantage to either day.
What should I wear?
Are dogs allowed?
This really is an event for the whole family. We encourage you to bring your four-legged friends to Bicton with both ‘have a go’ dog agility and a family dog show running over the weekend.
Please ensure that dogs are kept on a short lead and under control at all times. It is incredibly dangerous to both horses and riders if your dog gets loose. Owners of dogs found to be off the lead will incur a penalty fine (donated to the charity of our choice) and you may be asked to leave the site. Please ensure you clean up after your dogs and place waste in relevant bins.ode, but do bear in mind that the event will run come rain or shine so remember to bring a rain coat, wellies and sun cream! The event site is spread over a large area, and the terrain is uneven in places so please ensure that you wear suitable footwear especially if you plan to walk to Cross Country Course and browse the shopping.
Are dogs allowed IN THE MEMBERS AREA?
Dogs are permitted inside the Member’s Enclosure, with a handler. Please do not leave dogs unattended.

Does my carer get in for free?
Yes, all carers who are accompanying a disabled visitor will get free entry into the event. All disabled visitors will need to purchase an admission ticket and also obtain a FOC Blue Badge Parking Pass, remember to bring your actual Blue Badge for entry also. FOC Carer Pass’ are available with valid Carer ID via the Box Office.
PLEASE NOTE – there will be no tickets available on the Disabled Gate for purchase on the day, so please ensure you have bought in advance.
CAN I BUY FOOD & DRINK AT THE EVENT?
In the main event area, there will be a variety of take-away food outlets and seating. Plated sandwiches and salads can be purchased from the Member’s Bar, and the Member’s Bistro serves slightly more formal plated meals, with the option of three courses. Please note that all tables are operated on a first come, first served basis
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD & DRINK AT THE EVENT?
You are very welcome to bring your own food and drink, and picnic around the event. The only exception is in the Member’s areas where only food purchased from there can be consumed. Please remember to put your litter in the bins provided, or take it home with you.
I lost something at the event - what do i do?
If you notice that you have lost something whilst you are at the event, please go to the INFORMATION POINT and report your loss to a member of the team. If anything of a similar description gets handed in, we will get in touch with you. If you realise that you are missing something after the event, please email info@bicton.com to report your loss and to see whether it has been handed in.
I FOUND something THAT ISN'T MINE - what do i do?
If you find an item which doesn’t belong to you or anyone around you, please take it to the INFORMATION POINT The team will make their best effort to reunite it with the owner.
